BSkyB puts pressure on BT

Yesterday BSkyB's James accouned a 400Million GBP further investment into broadband business. BSkyB is wants a piece of 25Billion GBP TME's 2010 business.
CPW, Orange, and now BSkyB has offered it's segement of customers few broadband connection with free wireless routers and 'unlimited' downloads...BT hasn't come out with any other than a legal case against CPW's slogan 'free forever' !

After going through Ad in newspaper, first thing I did was to call BT and ask how can I cancel my broadband option! Few more months to go then I would not be paying a single penny against hefty monthly fee for a limited download

Blogs banned by India

India joined the likes of China, Pakistan and similar countries where freedom of expression is openly banned or rudely suppressed. Indian government has passed the rule to ban internet websites as and when government wishes.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/5194172.stm reports that bloggers are its first victim and many blogspot blogs have been banned by 150+ ISP as per government notice.

Previously Indian government tried to control other mass communication mediums like TV and print...it seems like Indian government really hates the idea where information is accessible to mass easily.

PS: Technically, no ISP Or government can stop a curious technical savvy reader from accessing any website in the world he/she wishes from any country…unless the country in question decides to shuts down its entire internet infrastructure
