Over the last two years, the industry has seen too many conferences focused on IPTV. Though, I have not seen any improvements in the quality of these conferences. To a major extent the speakers have repeated well known hum-drums of IPTV; typically of great potential and great growth forecasts but hardly giving any concrete account of their IPTV experience and challenges.Only memory that is left of these conferences are odd ones like, a false fire alarm (IPTV Advanced) or downpour of water (European Media Summit, Nov 2007) or 2GB thumb drive give-away!!
Oh well, when people can pay to listen to the same feel-good-story, why not write one about it……IPTV - What, Why and Will?
